We recognise that sponsorship of roundabouts is the primary, but not the only method of income generation for the Highway Authority. We have considerable experience in sponsorship of Boundary/Welcome signs, Central Reservations and verge areas. The key to our success in these areas is to listen and engage with all interested parties to develop a product that everyone can sign up to.
We are constantly looking for new ways of generating income for Local Authorities, through innovation and experience. Our experienced staff, regularly meet with Councils and sponsors to discuss ways of improving the services that we offer and to try to develop new fields of work. The views of our sponsors are very important in this matter as they will advise us on where they will spend their advertising budgets. Building strong relationships with our sponsors is important as it helps promote joint working and in so doing can generate further business.
